Copyright

I do ask that winners show their awards proudly. Awards that are not posted are assumed unaccepted. If an award is not accepted, all future applications for awards will be deemed ineligible for any other site submitted.

Should you win--please do not change the award graphic. It is copyrighted material. Any change that is made to an earned award graphic must come with a request for a letter of permission to do so. Changes include anything that make it other than it was when received, including but not limited to: optimizing, resizing, changing format, reducing or adding color, using any part of the graphic anywhere on your site that it is no longer part of the original exactly as received.

If any changes are made without asking, I will notifiy you that it is not legal to do so and ask that you replace the graphic with the original. If the graphic is not replaced with the original and/or a request is not made and granted permission to make the change the site will lose the link as a winner due to copyright infringement.

In rare cases, I have allowed changes to be made but not without written permission. If you need to modify the graphic (for instance, flash sites), please email me requesting to do so. I have no problem with this as long as I am made aware of the change, but I do ask that it be done tastefully.

Circus Line

I have been lenient in the past when the award has been resized in order to fit on the winners website. If there is any resizing done, the actual award graphic originally sent to winners must be displayed somewhere on the site.

All the rules above also apply for my "over age 40" graphics located on the Tips 1 page. You may use the graphic as long you are over the age of 40, and I am requesting the graphic itself be left in its original state.

Portions of the above notation are used with written permission from the owner of Nem5.
