PRESENTS

Gelette Award

Our very first award we received on May 23, 1986. Gerry Gellette presented it in person. All the performers were given a years supply of Gellette Razors. Now, if Sozo would take a hint and start using Gerry's razors, perhaps it would remove some of his hairy whiskers. Sozo can look like a bum at times over Sanderella's objections. Thanks Gerry.

Lemon Award

Circus World was given another award. But we did it on June 20, 1991. The Lemon Award was from Sally Sankist. Sally usually gives orange awards but that year there was a freeze in Florida. All the oranges shriveled, so that left only the lemons. How thoughtful of you, Sally.

Brono Mogli Award Award

On January 8, 1996, we were fortunate to receive the Brono Mogli Award. But due to unforeseen circumstances, the shoes were unavailable. So we had to settle for Bo J. Simpson's footprints. Special thanks to Bo for letting Brono Mogli use his footprints. The company owes Bo plenty of money for making their shoes famous. Ah, the most famous shoes in the world.

Flying Squirrel Award

The Flying Star was awarded November 3, 1997. It was suppose to be a Flying Squirrel Award but, unfortunately, all the squirrels were hibernating for the winter. We had to take what was left; but it was still an honor. We were very honored that the Flying Squirrel took time to present the award.

Bemmett Belly Award

We were the first circus in history to be recognized and given the Bemmett Belly Award. Imagine getting the Belly Award in front of millions at the Academy. Our deepest and sincerest gratitude cannot be expressed in words.
