There is a small privately owned zoo at the circus. Some of the world's most exotic animals live in it. The zookeeper hunts all over the world for any unusual additions that will uplift the reputation of the zoo. At the present time there are only 4 animals who live in the enclosed zoo area. Each one of these special animals are meateaters; no veggies for them since they need all the protein they can get. Even though the zoo is small right now, these animals can do some unusual tricks. Check out these awesome creatures:
Here is "Slyvester" the cat. Slyvester has this bad habit of sneaking out of the zoo and running off to the hotel at Circus World. He loves to spark attention by drinking out of the guest's sink. The above photo was taken after Slyvester got caught. See the guilty look on his face. He knows he is wrong. It's not that the zookeeper doesn't keep him supplied with fresh water, he only loves the attention. What better way yo get attention than to drink out of the sink. Slyvester is very "sly."

Keesha, pictured above, has a wild reputation. When this picture was taken, she was listening
to"Green-eyed Lady"on the small transister radio she owns. Keesha is half weiner dog and half hot dog. She doesn't like for this to be too well-known because the other animals are meat-eaters. And since she weighs a few ounces shy of 13 pounds, she would be an easy target for the others to gobble her down.
Notice: Sadly, Keesha passed on to doggie heaven on September 19, 2002 at the age of 15. She will be missed so much by her family. She will be remembered as a faithful companion to jan, amy, and stacy.

Pokey, the possum, is the weirdest zoo animal we have. He was found wondering in a field where his mother had deserted him. A kind hunter brought Pokey to the zoo. In the picture above, Pokey is getting ready to peel potatoes for our special "Sneaky Snake Soup." Before coming to the zoo, Pokey was taken on a mini vacation to Alabama. Here Pokey stayed at the kind hunter's sister-in-laws while the hunter's family went to Disney World. The sister-in-law kept Pokey in her bathtub until his owners returned.
Eli came to the circus when his master (Debbie) was hired as Circus World's Psychiatrist. With his powerful nose, he is labeled as a "super duper pooper scooper." Being able to jump large piles
of poop in a single leap is one of Eli's assets. He has won many awards with his ability to pick up "smelly scents." This makes Graham's job a lot easier. Remember Graham? He is Circus World's "Director of Internal
Affairs." We are very fortunate to have Debbie and Eli. Both bring professionalism to the circus.
Because Pokey has such an adorable face, we decided to show another picture of
him. Possums sleep during the day and roam at night. The picture above shows Pokey getting ready to go to bed for the day. Isn't he a bomb? He is well known for his preparation of our famous "Liced Tea."
